LLMRequirements.com is a free, ad-free hardware picker for people who want to run open-weights language, image, and video models on their own gear.

What this site does

You tell us what you want to do — a use case, a memory target, or a specific open-source model. We match it against ~36 real builds (Apple Silicon, NVIDIA consumer + datacenter, AMD Strix Halo + Instinct, Intel Arc Pro, and multi-GPU rigs) and surface the candidates with current prices, community-measured tokens-per-second, idle and active power draw, and a five-year total-cost-of-ownership estimate.

Prices auto-convert to your local currency using live FX rates from frankfurter.app. Regional Amazon links route to your local marketplace.

Where the numbers come from

• Performance (tg/s, s/img, s/clip) — single-stream token-generation measured on llama.cpp Q4_K_M unless noted otherwise. Source URLs are linked on each build card and consolidated on the Sources section of the home page.
• Prices — vendor MSRP or the lowest current major-retailer listing at the date in the footer. Used-market pricing for older GPUs (e.g. RTX 3090) reflects typical eBay completed-sales medians.
• Power draw — wall-meter readings from public benchmarks, idle and under sustained inference. Power varies materially with workload, so treat these as ballpark.

Data is refreshed roughly weekly. The last refreshed date is shown in the footer of the home page.

What this site is not

• Not a synthetic benchmark — we don't run our own tests. Every speed claim is sourced from a third party we trust.
• Not a buying agent — we don't take orders, hold inventory, or warranty hardware.
• Not a model leaderboard. We use model ratings to size memory and select use-case relevance, not to crown winners.
